Job summary

L.E.A.R.N. is seeking an Enrichment Coordinator to oversee Friday or Saturday enrichment programs and manage staff across multiple school sites in California. The role includes supervising Site Coordinators, Youth Leaders, and other staff while coordinating with school personnel to ensure engaging, educational activities for students.

The position is part-time and hourly, with scheduling aligning to non-school days and after-school activities. It requires Live Scan and TB tests, and L.E.A.R.N.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or four years of youth-serving experience.
• Ability to pass a district examination for instructional assistants is to be expected.
• Experience supervising staff and developing program plans is highly desired.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Enrichment Friday or Saturday programming at designated LEARN partner schools.
• Develop and foster positive relationships with school administration, faculty, staff, parents, other partner staff, and students.
• Plan and coordinate an enrichment program with input from district administration, partner agencies, ASB students, teachers, parents, counselors, and Title I Coordinators via a program Advisory Board.
• Develop staffing plan to implement programming.
• Supervise Youth Leaders including performance monitoring and recommendations for hiring and discipline input.
• Monitor expenses to stay within the program budget.
• Meet with teachers, principals, and other instructional-day staff to align activities with curriculum or student interests.
• Recruit students to attend programs and ensure attendance is recorded and reported.
