Job summary

Launch is seeking Enrichment Teachers to provide a safe, caring, and academically and socially enriching environment for school-age children. This role ensures curriculum and activities are developmentally appropriate and aligned with best practices.

You will create weekly lesson plans, supervise groups, engage children in activities, provide homework support, and maintain safe, organized sites while communicating with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and 1 year education beyond high school required.
• AA in education or related field preferred.
• 2 years’ experience with children preferred.
• Proficient in behavior management and activity planning.
• Excellent communication with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly lesson plans aligned with best practices for Expanded Learning Opportunities.
• Supervise and manage groups of children.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the site.
• Prepare and serve snacks to the children.
• Engage children in enrichment activities.
• Provide homework support.
• Build nurturing relationships with children and families.
• Communicate positively with parents, staff, and schools.
• Enforce general safety rules of the center.
• Assist in positive behavior management when required.
• Obtain required training and ongoing professional development.
