Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking an engaging Preschool Teacher to support enrichment programs including cooking, yoga, and sports. The role creates a fun, safe, and structured environment for preschoolers to explore new skills and develop social-emotional growth through hands-on activities.

You will lead hands-on cooking activities, movement-based sessions, and cooperative play while maintaining safety and supervision with appropriate ratios.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
• Previous experience with preschool-aged children.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Enthusiastic, positive and engaging personality; strong classroom management.
• Ability to lead engaging, high-energy activities while maintaining structure and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support enrichment programs such as cooking, yoga, and sports-based activities.
• Kids Café: guide children through hands-on cooking activities and simple recipes.
• Culinary Club: support older children in more advanced kitchen experiences.
• Young Yogis: facilitate movement, mindfulness, and storytelling activities.
• Kickstart Soccer: engage children in active, play-based soccer sessions.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities promoting creativity, exploration, teamwork, and development.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment and supervise enrichment sessions.
• Communicate with parents and school leadership regarding children's progress.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Job description

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• Experience or interest in one or more of the following
• Cooking or food-based learning
• Youth fitness, yoga, or movement activities
• Sports or recreational programming
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to lead engaging, high-energy activities while maintaining structure and safety
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
