Job summary

New York Preschool & Kids Club in New York City is seeking an Enrichment Teacher to provide a foundation for lifelong learning for children aged 0 to 6 through a vibrant program of enrichment classes. You will transition seamlessly from physical activities to science experiments and storytelling, turning every lesson into a memorable experience for young learners.

The role emphasizes a dynamic, playful approach, collaboration with families, and a commitment to safety and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood is preferred.
• 1–2+ years of formal teaching experience in early childhood (ages 0–6).
• Experience teaching music, dance, gymnastics, or yoga is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-lead a dynamic range of classes for children ages 0 to 6.
• Use play, art, music, gymnastics, and STEM to build confidence and coordination.
• Tackle daily operations with a ready-for-anything attitude and smooth transitions between activities.
• Build trust with parents and caregivers through daily updates on their child’s day.
• Maintain safety and compliance to support a positive learning environment.

Education
