• Commit to ongoing professional learning and develop and adjust curriculum on an ongoing basis to meet students' needs and interests.
• Stay current on best and burgeoning pedagogical and curricular practices.
• Commit to our district's Vision Map that centers on reimagining learning, pursuit of passion, and building a culture of wellness in a future-focused system in an effort to develop "What School Can Be".
• Plan collaboratively with colleagues and be open to sharing and learning with and from others.
• Create a personalized learning environment for students that meets individual needs and challenges students to reach their full potential.
• Have the ability to self-evaluate, be reflective and problem solve.

The Croton-Harmon School District has an anticipated opening for a Leave Replacement English as a Second Language teacher in the Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year starting in September. NYS certification in English to Speakers of Other Languages required.
