Job summary

Landscapes Unlimited Outdoors is seeking an experienced Enhancement Manager to join our Commercial Maintenance team. This hands-on leadership role combines sales, estimating, production oversight, field leadership, and customer service to identify opportunities, sell profitable enhancement work, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards.

Qualifications

• Landscape industry experience required, preferably in commercial landscape maintenance, enhancements, or landscape construction
• Previous experience leading and developing field employees
• Experience estimating and selling landscape enhancement work
• Understanding of job costing, budgets, gross margin, and production performance
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Landscapes Unlimited Outdoors is seeking an experienced Enhancement Manager to join our Commercial Maintenance team.

The Enhancement Manager is responsible for driving the success of landscape enhancement work across our commercial maintenance portfolio. This position combines sales, estimating, production oversight, field leadership, and customer service to identify opportunities, sell profitable enhancement work, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands both the operational and financial sides of the landscape industry and enjoys developing people, working with customers, and seeing projects come to life.

What You'll Do

• Identify enhancement opportunities within our existing commercial maintenance portfolio
• Work closely with Account Managers to understand customer needs and recommend property improvements
• Develop accurate and profitable estimates for landscape enhancement work
• Prepare and present enhancement proposals
• Help achieve annual enhancement sales and profitability goals
• Maintain an active pipeline of enhancement opportunities
• Ensure enhancement work is properly scoped, estimated, and communicated before production begins

Production & Operations

• Oversee the successful production of commercial landscape enhancement projects
• Schedule enhancement crews based on workload, priorities, and customer commitments
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and other resources
• Prepare clear job information for field teams before work begins
• Monitor labor hours, material costs, job costs, and overall performance
• Review actual performance against estimated hours and budgets
• Make adjustments when necessary to protect quality and profitability
• Coordinate material purchasing and deliveries
• Ensure crews have the equipment and materials needed to perform efficiently
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and quality
• Ensure completed enhancement work meets Landscapes Unlimited standards and customer expectations
• Lead, support, and develop enhancement field crews and Crew Leaders
• Clearly communicate company expectations, procedures, safety requirements, and performance goals
• Provide regular coaching, feedback, and training
• Help identify employee strengths and opportunities for development
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training as needed
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels based on workload
• Promote accountability, teamwork, productivity, quality, and safety

Customer Service & Quality

• Maintain strong communication with Account Managers and customers
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality and progress
• Address customer concerns quickly and professionally
• Ensure work meets the agreed-upon scope and customer expectations
• Identify additional opportunities to improve customer properties
• Help strengthen customer relationships and support long-term client retention
• Understand estimated labor, materials, equipment, and overall costs associated with enhancement work
• Monitor job costs and production performance
• Manage enhancement work with a strong focus on gross margin and profitability
• Communicate job performance with field leadership
• Control labor hours, material usage, and unnecessary costs
• Ensure completed work is properly documented and ready for timely billing
• Contribute to the overall financial and operational goals of the Commercial Maintenance division

What We're Looking For

• Landscape industry experience required, preferably in commercial landscape maintenance, enhancements, or landscape construction
• Previous experience leading and developing field employees
• Experience managing multiple crews or projects simultaneously
• Experience estimating and selling landscape enhancement work
• Strong understanding of landscape production, labor, materials, and equipment
• Knowledge of plants, hardscapes, irrigation, seasonal color, and landscape materials
• Understanding of job costing, budgets, gross margin, and production performance
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfortable using technology for estimating, scheduling, communication, and job tracking
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Self‑motivated, accountable, and team‑oriented
