Enhancement Crew Leader – TR Gear Landscaping
The Enhancement Crew Leader is a working team member responsible for overseeing landscape enhancement tasks such as clean-ups, mulching, trimming, maintenance, pruning, fertilization, weed control, planting, flower installation, and leaf clean-ups. The crew ensures safe and efficient completion of projects on assigned properties.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Train, direct, and oversee crew to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain sensitivity and respect for equipment and customer property.
- Identify issues and follow through appropriately.
- Motivate and manage crew within budgeted hours.
- Responsible for reporting requirements.
- Display honesty and respect with coworkers, contractors, customers, and employees.
- Set standards for a quality company image and emphasize customer service.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Communicate constructively with customers, crews, and management.
- Participate in evaluating crew performance.
- Complete safety training and ensure proper uniforms and PPE are used.
- Maintain a safe work environment and report equipment needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older.
- Ability to lead diversified employees.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Horticulture knowledge and experience required.
- Positive attitude, patience, and good follow-through skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience leading workers.
Pre-Screen:
- Pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR check may be required.
License & Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Climbing stairs rarely.
- Sitting, crawling, climbing on/off trucks, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., reading, climbing ladders occasionally.
- Walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, touch, speaking, seeing, gripping, reaching, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Standing, manual dexterity, hearing, color vision, lifting up to 10 lbs. continuously.
