Job summary

Allied Universal in Radnor, PA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Screening to join our team. This role provides reliable, schedule-friendly hours at a designated site, with the option to pick up additional shifts through our platform.

You will perform access control, screening, and customer service for patients, visitors and staff, upholding safety procedures and incident reporting. The position pays $19.61 per hour and offers part-time flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, students, staff, and/or guests while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas in accordance with established access-control and screening protocols, including verifying identification and directing visitors as appropriate.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of personal belongings in accordance with site procedures and applicable guidelines.
• Respond to screening-related incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate screening logs and incident documentation, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
