Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Screening in West Finley, PA. The role offers reliable hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts, designed to supplement income or build toward a full-time career in security.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a fixed shift and optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform. Candidates must meet minimum age and education requirements and pass background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Criminal history considered per law.
• Drug screen as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, authorizations, credentials, and visitor documentation; issue temporary access credentials.
• Operate access control systems, maintain logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
