Job summary

Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. This high-impact, onsite production role focuses on building datasets with audio, speech and language data, ensuring models are trained on accurate and well-structured inputs.

You will evaluate AI model outputs and perform audit-based reviews, applying guidelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine quality standards. 40 hours per week, onsite in target locations.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in English (UK).
• Strong written communication and language fundamentals.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain steady output.
• Willingness to ask questions and elevate when needed.
• Basic familiarity with AI, speech technology, or language data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior — identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don't reflect real-world scenarios
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way
