Tidewater Community College seeks an English Tutor in Chesapeake for part-time, on-site support. You will meet students one-to-one or in small groups to clarify learning objectives, reinforce study skills, and assist with basic computer literacy including navigating Canvas.

Tutors provide academic support to increase student academic achievement by meeting with students to clarify learning objectives and outcomes and work on study skills. Tutors serve as a supplement to classroom or online teaching. Tutors assist faculty, deans, and the Learning Assistance Supervisor in supporting the student success initiatives of Tidewater Community College.
