About the Position:

Buxmont Academy, a Pennsylvania-licensed private academic school, is seeking an engaging and dedicated Secondary English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for our Woodlyn campus. Buxmont Academy operates six campuses throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and uses restorative practices to support students’ academic achievement, emotional growth, and personal development. Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Pennsylvania English teaching certification or eligibility for teaching certification.
• Successful completion of required Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI background check.

• A genuine interest in teaching secondary school students and an understanding of their developmental needs.
• Ability to develop engaging, standards-aligned lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
