Job summary

Buxmont Academy, a Pennsylvania-licensed private academic school, seeks a dedicated Secondary English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for the Woodlyn campus. You will teach engaging, standards-aligned lessons to at-risk students and build positive relationships in a supportive setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher, PA teaching certification or eligibility, and successful completion of required background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Pennsylvania English teaching certification or eligibility for teaching certification.
• Successful completion of required Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI background check.

Responsibilities
