Future Teaching Opportunities (2025-2026 School Year)

BASIS Charter Schools is currently accepting applications for teaching positions for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for like-minded professionals who share our commitment to delivering a transformative K-12 education that fosters broad intellectual capabilities, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills in our students.

As a BASIS educator, you will join a team that works with a cutting-edge curriculum, participates in a robust faculty mentoring program, and contributes to our nationally recognized success in academic achievement. Our focus on excellence prepares students for the challenges of the future and equips them with the tools to thrive.

Position Availability:

We appreciate your interest in becoming part of the BASIS Charter Schools team. Your application will be reviewed, and we will reach out to you when a relevant opportunity arises. We anticipate phone screens and on-site interviews to begin as early as January and will continue through summer months.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)
  2. Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter or education
  2. 2+ years teaching/education experience

Essential Functions:

  1. Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans
  2. Provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment to achieve exceptional results for all students
  3. Implement the BASIS Curriculum by designing effective and creative lessons and assessments to ensure students' education is internationally competitive
  4. Collaborate with other BASIS Curriculum teachers to further develop curriculum/subject material and build a community of like-minded professionals passionate about education
  5. Tutor students in content-specific knowledge and skills to heighten the trajectory of students' academic and career success
  6. Manage student behavior to foster academic achievement, personal responsibility, intellect, individuality, and respect in all students
  7. Support the execution of non-instructional functions, such as “Early Bird,” “Late Bird,” and lunch
  8. Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance
  9. Supervise individual students and/or groups of students
