Job summary

The Lakes Home Care Services in Florida is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily living and personal care in patients' homes according to an established care plan.

The role includes assisting with baths, hygiene, dressing, feeding, safety in the home, and documenting patient status. A part-time schedule with flexible hours and a competitive salary is offered, with duties aligned to state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements as per state and federal laws when applicable.
• Able to read, follow written instructions and document care provided.
• CPR certification current and maintained as required by state regulation.
• Completes Maxim screening examinations as part of employment process.
• Completes Maxim competency program as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living and personal care per plan of care.
• Help with baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding.
• Record vital signs when ordered and report changes to nurse.
• Support safe transfers and ambulation as directed.
• Encourage and supervise range of motion and light exercises.
• Perform light therapy activities as ordered.
• Handle patient laundry and maintain safety practices at home.
• Observe and document patient condition; communicate with client/family and office.
• Adhere to the established plan of care and complete assigned tasks.
