Job summary

PowerSchool seeks an English Learner (EL) Teacher in Charlotte, NC to lead the school’s EL program under supervision, plan lessons, and support student achievement. Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and implement an EL program of study that meets student needs.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Prepare lessons and classroom activities to meet learning objectives.
• Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and needs.
• Diagnose learning challenges and maintain records for IEPs and 504 plans.
• Foster strong school-home relations to engage families of EL students.
