Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a humanities field from US schools (English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Publishing, etc.).
• Teaching experience in English and/or college-level Writing Center (1+ years).
• Demonstrated academic excellence (3.5+ GPA).
• Strong verbal skills and mastery of English.
• Proficiency with MS Office and G-Suites; reliable internet and quiet workspace.
• Commitment to scheduling during specified Hours of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Teach and inspire small groups of students to promote long-term understanding of English topics and high college-readiness scores (ACT & SAT).
• Track students’ progress through Vanguard’s curriculum with individualized growth opportunities.
• Manage and model professional behavior, assignments, and timely communication.
