Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a Faculty English teacher to design engaging instruction and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment for students. You will collaborate with families, colleagues, and administrators to support the school’s mission and ensure students are prepared for future success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject area
• Strong classroom management skills required
• Highly organized; flexible in meeting the needs of boarding students and their families
• Ability to design and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of a diverse student population
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Technologically savvy
• Preferred: Master’s degree in relevant subject area
• Preferred: Experience with student athletes / international education

Responsabilités

• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging educational environment where student-athletes are encouraged to achieve their holistic potential.
• Design, implement, and adapt instructional activities that align with curriculum standards and foster active, meaningful student learning.
• Develop, administer, and analyze assessments to monitor student progress, inform instruction, and ensure continuous growth toward learning objectives.
• Differentiate instruction by identifying, selecting, and modifying resources to meet the needs of student-athletes with diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities.
• Establish and maintain a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and self-discipline in accordance with school policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including grades, attendance, and other documentation required by laws, accreditation standards, and school regulations.
• Communicate consistently and effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators regarding student progress, needs, and achievements.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning opportunities to support school initiatives and ongoing professional growth.
• Model high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions with students, families, and the community.
• Support school events, extracurricular activities, and other duties that contribute to a positive school community.
• Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and professional codes of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
