Job summary

Welo Data is seeking a Maps Visual Design Relevance Evaluator (US). This freelance role focuses on evaluating map design aesthetics, readability, and overall polish while ensuring geospatial accuracy and content relevance.

You will review personalized location recommendations and document issues, with participation limited to three project rounds. A desktop or laptop computer is required for onboarding and work, with the project operating on a remote basis.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
• Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.
• Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness.
• Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., Icons not properly masked, Labels too small).

Requirements:

• To be located and have the right to work in the United States.
• An existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps.
• Participation is limited to maximum three project rounds. Please note that the task request will be dynamic and we will be providing you with a heads-up as soon as possible once there is a project round available for you.

PROJECT DETAILS

• Contract type: Freelance
• Hourly rate: US$20.30

• Estimated volume: 8 - 10 hours
• Start date: The project runs on a weekly basis. Eligible candidates will be added to a pool of certified raters and contacted at least 48 hours before kickoff.
