Job summary

Welo Data is seeking a Maps Visual Design Relevance Evaluator (US) for remote freelance work. You will evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs to ensure high-quality user experiences.

You will assess viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance, and review personalized location recommendations for usefulness. The task requires precise tagging of issues and collaboration in a fast-paced reviewer pool.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
• Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.
• Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness.
• Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., Icons not properly masked, Labels too small).

Requirements:

• To be located and have the right to work in the United States.
• An existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps.
• Participation is limited to maximum three project rounds. Please note that the task request will be dynamic and we will be providing you with a heads-up as soon as possible once there is a project round available for you.

PROJECT DETAILS

• Contract type: Freelance
• Hourly rate: US$20.30

• Location: Remote
• Estimated volume: 8 - 10 hours
• Start date: The project runs on a weekly basis. Eligible candidates will be added to a pool of certified raters and contacted at least 48 hours before kickoff.
