Job summary

TMEIC is seeking a versatile Training Engineer to create and deliver engineering training programs over a 9–12 month horizon. You will develop technical courses, prepare materials, and coordinate delivery at company and client sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, at least 2 years' experience in industrial systems or drives, and the ability to train others while traveling domestically up to 50% and internationally as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in industrial systems, drives or control.
• Proven ability to train others and present technical material.
• Travel up to 50% domestically and occasional international travel.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engineering and technical training programs over a 9–12 month horizon.
• Plan, prepare, and conduct assigned training for employees, clients and service providers at company or client facilities.
• Develop generic training materials for onsite use or customization by others.
• Ensure course material and equipment are prepared and available prior to course.
• Recommend content and curricula based on current and future products and tools.
• Identify and specify training equipment and facility needs to meet company requirements.
• Monitor and incorporate new products and enhancements via cross-functional collaboration.
• Acquire knowledge via site visits and project engineering contributions to train topics.
