Job summary

Everlaw in Oakland is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Engineering to align engineering efforts, own systems, and enforce processes across the team. You will partner with senior engineering leadership to drive velocity and build self-service automation that acts as a force multiplier.

• 2–3 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) or in a similar technical program/project management function.
• Background in software development or deep understanding of software engineering platforms and infrastructure architecture.
• Domain expertise and working Python knowledge related to data structures, distributed systems, and BI data analysis.
• Proficiency with Jira, GitHub, AWS, Salesforce, or Fivetran to build modular data preparations and clean visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SWEs and Engineering Managers to define project scope, track dependencies, and remove blockers to drive multidisciplinary teams to successful project completion.
• Develop and refine roadmaps for your portfolio of operational programs, translating requirements into concrete technical solutions aligned with yearly objectives.
• Build automation-based workflows and self-service tools within engineering systems (AWS, Salesforce, Fivetran, Jira, GitHub) to act as organizational force multipliers.
• Define, collect, and sanitize raw usage data to design BI visualizations that inform data-driven decisions and measure program impact.
• Synthesize complex project information into accessible narratives for engineering leadership and stakeholders.
• Break down technical solutions into milestones, delivering with velocity across your program portfolio.
• Operate and deliver projects using industry-standard PM practices.
