GE Aerospace in the United States Loves Park, IL is seeking a technician to support the test engineering team in the pneumatics lab. You will create custom test setups, operate data acquisition equipment, run tests on pneumatic articles, and document results.
You will troubleshoot, draw conclusions from test data, and report findings to help improve designs and processes. This role requires 2+ years of technical experience and U.S. citizenship, with willingness to work non-standard hours.
As a technician, you will support the GE Aerospace test engineering team within the GE Aerospace pneumatics lab. Within this role you will be given diverse and complex assignments in support of GE Aerospace Systems product development and production. Assignments may include but are not limited to creating custom engineering test setups, set up and running data acquisition equipment, performing tests on various pneumatic test articles, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measurements.
The base pay range for this position is $62,370 - $83,466. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
