SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Engineering Technician V.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary

SEACORP is looking for an Engineering Technician V for the Hardware Solutions Business Area. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for the build, integration, and test of hardware and software capabilities for Electronic Warfare Systems.

Duties include requirements and design/drawing review, component build/test/Quality Assurance (QA), and system integration and test. Lead/Mentor junior technicians in the execution of their job duties. Experience in the Electronic Warfare domain is desired.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Experience: Fifteen (15) years of full-time professional experience working as an Engineering Technician in providing technical support related to the design, development, production, or testing of shipboard systems.
  • Ten (10) years of full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment. The experience should not be concurrent across multiple systems unless they are of equivalent complexity.
  • Top Secret/SCI personnel must be certified in Security+ at a minimum and certified SYSADMIN in one or more of the following Operating Systems: Windows, Linux.

Clearance: TS/SCI

All SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.

Location: Norfolk, VA

Travel: Infrequently (<3 times annually)

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Office & Computer Laboratories. The position requires sitting, standing, extended periods using a mouse and keyboard, looking at screens, and infrequent lifting of <40 lbs. Movement within the office or between buildings. Work is performed in consistent environmental conditions with some seasonal temperature and lighting variations.
