Electrical Engineer III
SEACORP's Shipyard Engineering Business Area is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronics in a developmental launcher system. This position calls for an experienced, versatile engineer able to contribute to a variety of different projects while working with other engineers, technicians, and logisticians. The successful candidate will have some familiarity with systems development ranging from conceptualization through delivery with an emphasis on requirements development, technical customer interface, design, fabrication supervision, and testing. The ability to research and select off-the-shelf products to be combined with custom hardware and software to provide a solution to program needs will be critical. The capacity to envision how different parts and assemblies will come together into a final system or subsystem will be useful. This position will require strong technical writing skills to support project bids and proposals.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Seven (7) years of full-time professional experience working as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
