Job summary

US Architect of the Capitol seeks a skilled technician to support intelligent utility distribution and monitoring. The incumbent will ensure accurate flow measurement, reliable system performance, and proper data collection, integrating with facility monitoring systems to aid operations and energy management.

This role requires specialized experience with flow technologies, SCADA, and utility systems, with robust capabilities in interpreting technical drawings and diagnosing equipment issues.

Qualifications

  • Specialized experience in flow measurement technologies, instrumentation systems, and utility distribution infrastructure.
  • Experience with installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of flow meters and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of steam, condensate, chilled water, domestic water, and related utility systems.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems, data acquisition, communications protocols, and monitoring systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, piping diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate flow measurement and reliable system performance.
  • Support data collection and integration with facility monitoring systems.
  • Assist with operations, maintenance planning, energy management, and utility accounting.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to qualification standards.
