Job summary

The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority is seeking a Technician I, Instrumentation to perform skilled tasks in maintaining electronic and mechanical systems. You will support the use of maintenance management systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Must obtain CCST I certification within 9 months from date of hire.
  • Basic knowledge of Process Control System/Distributed Control System (PCS).

  • Troubleshoots and maintains instrumentation equipment.
  • Supports CMMS for work execution.
  • Complies with safety regulations and operates Authority vehicles.

Skills

Electrical drawing interpretation
Use of electric/electronic test equipment
Proficiency with PLCs
