Job Description

This role requires the following skills and qualifications:

1. 1+ year of embedded software programming experience in C, C++, or Python.
2. Basic knowledge and experience with Linux OS.
3. Basic knowledge and experience with Microcontroller (MCU), Microprocessor, SOC.
4. Ability to run test cases and collect results to build software.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ year of engineering technician or related work experience, OR

Associate’s Degree and 2+ years of related experience, OR

High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Experience and Physical Requirements

Minimum years of experience as specified above.

Physical requirements include lifting, outdoor work, and travel, with maximum weight limits of 25 lbs for pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and document activities related to benches, testers, and equipment. Guide installation, upgrades, and configuration of complex equipment and components.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for troubleshooting, repairs, rework, and modifications.
• Set up test equipment using hand tools or automated methods; perform and assist in designing tests for circuits, components, and assemblies.
• Review and document test results, KPIs, and maintain malfunction records.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, cases, and procedures. Assist in debugging complex issues and review documentation of process or SOP changes.
• Manage inventory, shipping, receiving, and usage of equipment for test labs and projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and oversee their implementation. Review work of other technicians.
