This person should be knowledgeable of electronic manufacturing. The candidate must have experience with tooling, prototyping, mechanical assembly, testing and data collection.

The SMT Tooling Technician will be responsible for a sequence of tooling and automation projects. The candidate will need to use a variety of mechanical and electronic tools, and will receive training to run, program, and maintain SMT equipment (paste printer, pick and place, AOI, reflow, conveyors). After training, the operator will also be expected to occasionally setup and program jobs, as well as trouble shooting and repair.
Duties include daily interaction with engineering department members, production supervision, and during projects, production personnel. Responsibilities will vary and it is expected this individual will be trained to operate and maintain a variety of equipment while creating new improvements to the production lines.
This person must be capable of completing tasks and achieving goals with minimum supervision.
