A leading company in the offshore energy industry is seeking a Commissioning Technician to deploy and commission Automated Guided Vehicle systems. This role involves leading commissioning activities, providing customer training, and ensuring system functionality. Candidates should have experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic disciplines and be willing to travel extensively.

The Commissioning Technician is responsible for deploying Oceaneering Mobile Robotics' (OMR) Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. This role involves installing and commissioning new systems at company facilities and customer or supplier sites worldwide. The technician oversees the commissioning process, collaborates with project teams, tests and prepares systems during production, and handles final installation and software updates onsite. The role includes leading commissioning activities, ensuring systems are calibrated, tested, and functional, providing customer training and support, and occasionally assisting with system maintenance and remote troubleshooting.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Mainly fieldwork, varying locations, PPE use, exposure to dust, working near moving equipment, and close collaboration with others.
