Qualifications

• Ability to obtain engineering decisions to effect timely, technically adequate and cost-effective resolution of problems.
• Plan for projects, by determining facilities, equipment, material, numbers, and kinds of shop personnel required.
• Estimating labor and material costs and preparing job order specifications assigning work to shops or codes in accordance with requirements.
• Ability to investigate problems related to work performed by other Shipyard engineering and support groups.
• High skill level with database systems (Access or Excel).
