Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking an Engineering Technician - Onsite for a 12+ month contract in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves assisting engineers and scientists with development, analysis, and testing of prototypes in a clean room environment.

You will build and test prototypes, help establish quality standards, and contribute to process innovation while working with minimal supervision. Experience with DFQ/DFM and external vendors is valued.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree (AA, certificate) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of technical work experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Able to provide preliminary equipment and prototype drawings and specifications.
• Bench fixturing/tooling design experience.
• Experience working with external vendors.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Knowledge of engineering statistical and scientific tools (Gage R&R, DOE, SPC, stress/strain analysis).

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Engineering Technician - Onsite for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Working in a clean room environment, this role involves assisting engineers and scientists with the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. The successful candidate will work with minimal supervision to build and test prototypes, establish quality standards, and contribute to process innovation.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and execute the building and testing of prototypes and products per engineering instructions
• Train others on new product processes and test procedures
• Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards
• Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling, and/or automation
• Support the development and implementation of capable manufacturing processes for new products
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering team
• Ensure products are tested to the most current methods and specifications, with documentation completed per GLP & QS requirements
• Develop concepts and construct prototypes/products
• Communicate project status to project teams

Requirements

Pay range

$20.69 - $30.69 per hour
