Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a contract role in Weston, FL. The engineer will develop foundational software components for robotics and enabling technology used across clinical applications, participating in the full software development lifecycle.

The role requires strong C++/Qt experience in Linux, Python scripting, SQL/ SQLite, and data modeling. Familiarity with 3D geometry, CI/CD, and unit testing is expected. This is a 6-month contract with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2+ years of experience.
• Strong C++ and Qt experience in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of SQL and SQLite databases.
• Experience managing data architecture, including data models, formats, schemas, and databases.
• Experience with 3D geometry.
• Proficiency with IDEs and build systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and unit testing.
• Familiarity with data serialization formats (e.g., JSON).

Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Weston, FL. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

The Senior Engineer will develop foundational software components for Robotics and Enabling Technology applications. This role involves the full software development lifecycle, including research, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software components shared across multiple clinical application architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Develop source code for shared data management components that integrate into the architectures of pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical applications
• Participate in SDLC activities for the components, including code review, documentation, integration, testing, defect management, and code analysis
• Ensure components are feature complete to meet requirements and/or design specifications

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 or more years of experience
• Solid background working with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment
• Experience with Python scripting and automation
• Knowledge of SQL and SQLite databases
• Demonstrated experience with managing data architecture, including data models, formats, schemas, and databases
• Experience working with 3D geometry
• Proficiency with integrated development environments (IDEs) and build systems with minimal supervision
• Experience working with revision control systems and following CI/CD development practicesFamiliarity with unit testing as part of the development workflow
• Familiarity with data serialization and interchange formats (e.g., JSON)

Desired skills:

• Experience with CAD modeling and mesh processing

Pay range:

$72.50 - $82.50 per hour
