Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services seeks an Associate Technician, Engineering for an onsite role in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will test prototypes per engineering instructions, assist engineers, and communicate status to project teams.

The role requires a two-year technical degree, hands-on bench fixturing experience, and collaboration with external vendors. Training will be provided; interviews are being scheduled promptly.

Salary: USD23 - USD23 per hour

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr.

Start/End Dates: 11/9/2026 - 11/8/2027

Job Description:

CLEAN ROOM ENVIRONMENT

• Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results.
• Assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services.
• Communicate assignment status to project engineers.
• Train others on new product processes and procedures.
• Build quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
• Ensure product is tested to the most current/validated method/process and specification and documentation is correctly completed per GLP & QS requirements as applicable.

Qualifications/Work Experience Required:

• Bench fixturing/tooling design experience (prototyping, so needs to be good with hands)
• Experience working with external vendors
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Apply a high-level of quality to work
• Ability to multi-task

Education:

• Two-year Technical Degree (i.e., AA, Certificate) and/or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years' of technical work experience in medical device development preferred

Interview Process:

• Initial round with hiring manager
• 2nd round with panel of 3 (will be flexible with panel to ensure scheduling expediency)

Notes:

• Full onsite role, no traveling
• Will train those identified for this role

Work Schedule:

• 8-430 or 7-330 or 6-230 (half hour lunch, no set lunchtime though)
