Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician Level 2/3 to support environmental and specialty test programs. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and familiarity with data acquisition and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Level 2 requires a HS diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Level 3 requires a HS diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in structural/flight test or integration/R&D environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and SCI.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, fabrication and assembly of mechanical/electromechanical components and test stands.
• Set up and operate Data Acquisition Systems and execute test plans.
• Interpret engineering drawings and troubleshoot cable assemblies/harnesses.
• Calibrate transducers with data acquisition systems to record deliverable data.
• Support multiple shift operations and maintain process certifications.
