Job summary

SAIC in Bedford, Indiana seeks an Engineering Tech IV to support CAC2S Small Form Factor (SFF) and MRIC programs, including production, testing, and integration. The role requires close work with government customers, technicians, and engineering staff to drive readiness of CAC2S systems.

This onsite role in Bedford will involve documenting processes, mentoring technicians, and ensuring mission readiness through robust production and validation activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience.
• MOS background in 5974, 5979, 7236, or 7242.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD 6016/3011/6017 (Link 16, JREAP, VMF).
• Hands-on experience with network administration and troubleshooting, Cisco routing and switching.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between government personnel and production teams to address system issues.
• Attend meetings and provide insights for cohesive planning.
• Develop and update production process documentation and data packages.
• Train and mentor production technicians in system operations and processes.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve production performance and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain production metrics, schedules, and inventory data.
• Provide technical support for design, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
