Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support test activities for a team of engineers and programmers involved in aircraft and military systems. The position is onsite in Indianapolis, IN and requires a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

You will work across the program lifecycle to test CCAs, analyze designs, and develop test hardware and firmware. The role emphasizes embedded software competency, troubleshooting, and strong communication to interface with cross-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of experience or Master's with zero+ years.
• Experience with requirements generation, management, allocation, tracking and verification.
• Background with electronic power systems, communications protocols, RF systems, sensor systems and embedded electronic assemblies.
• Background in troubleshooting embedded software and electronic components on CCAs.
• Experience with developmental and qualification testing of embedded systems, including test planning, setup and execution.

Responsibilities

• Test at the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) level.
• Analyze CCA designs and design tests to verify functionality.
• Design test hardware and write code to test TR and embedded software/firmware.
• Interpret test results and work with engineers to improve designs.
• Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and customers.
