Job summary

Holder Construction on the Hampton project is seeking an Engineer Technician in Training to support field operations on our jobsite. The role focuses on assisting field engineers with surveying instruments, data collection, and ensuring accurate control points.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of construction-related experience, can read drawings, and is capable of lifting 50–100 lbs. OSHA 10 and safety vigilance are expected in this OSHA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in construction or related field.
• Able to read construction drawings and understand safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, MEWP).
• Agile/mobile, capable of standing/walking long periods and lifting 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field Engineers in operating surveying instruments (robotic total station, auto level).
• Assist with establishing building control, markers, elevations, grades, alignments, distances.
• Maintain survey equipment and tools and support field supervision.
