Job summary

Holder Construction in Conesville, OH, is seeking an Engineer Technician in Training to join our Operations team on a full-time project. You will work closely with Field Engineers, operate surveying instruments, and help set markers, elevations, and alignments on site.

Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year of construction experience, be able to read drawings, and hold OSHA 10/safety training. You may lift 50–100 lbs and work outdoors, with overtime and weekend hours as required.

Qualifications

• 6 mos. to 1 year of construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and follow safety protocols (OSHA 10).
• Physically capable of lifting 50–100 lbs and working outdoors.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field Engineers with surveying instruments and leveling.
• Help establish building control, markers, elevations, and alignments.
• Maintain survey equipment and keep field notes organized.
• Support field supervision and drive daily site tasks to completion.
