Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Engineer Technician in Training for our Operations team on a project in Hampton, GA. This full-time role supports field engineers with surveying tasks and equipment maintenance on-site.

The candidate should read construction drawings, follow safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection), and be able to lift 50–100 lbs while working outdoors. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Reading construction drawings and understanding plans.
• Must have OSHA 10 and safety training or be willing to obtain.
• Able to lift 50–100 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field Engineers with operating surveying instruments (robotic total station, auto level).
• Help establish building control, markers, elevations, grades, and alignments.
• Maintain survey equipment and tools and support field supervision.
