Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Associates degree or higher in a technical field.
• Experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, metrology, lab operations, or related areas.
• Semiconductor experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with computer-based data systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, layouts, or defined plans.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
• Inspect materials, components, or products for defects and measure circuitry with test equipment and precision instruments.
• May conduct operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment and help determine remedies.
• Support design, construction, test, and checkout of test equipment.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized apparatus.
• Collaborate with development engineers to conduct engineering tests and collect data.
