Job summary

Lam Research seeks an Engineering Technician to support the design, test, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems and experimental circuitry. You will reference schematics and run tests to fault isolate and help remedy malfunctions, contributing to high-precision engineering systems.

You will perform testing with oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized equipment, supporting the design, construction, and check-out of test hardware in a shift-based environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work a shift-based schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, check-out, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, descriptions, layouts, or defined plans.
• May conduct operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment, help in determining methods to remedy malfunctions.
• Support the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.
