Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's MedTech site in Raynham, MA is seeking an Engineering Technician III to support manufacturing operations and process development for New Product Introductions. The technician will develop machining processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency on the shop floor.

You will work with Production Operations, Engineering, NC/CNC Programming, and cross-functional teams to enhance safety, quality, service, and cost.

Qualifications

High school diploma with CNC program creation and equipment setup experience.
Proven track record developing CNC programs for complex geometries.
3–5 years as Engineering Technician in a production or medical device environment preferred.
Experience in regulated industries and direct shop-floor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Develop CNC programs for multi-axis milling and lathe applications.
Support 5-axis machining programs for complex medical device components.
Utilize CAM software (Unigraphics preferred) incl. SolidCAM or Mastercam.
Drive process design, tooling strategy, and machining optimization.
Collaborate with machinists, NC programmers, and QA to resolve issues.
Lead cost-reduction and efficiency improvement projects with measurable results.
Spend significant time on the production floor with cross-functional teams.
