Job summary

Ultipro seeks an Engineering Technician to support engineering and production, resolving equipment and process issues and maintaining specifications and BOMs. You will work with engineers to test, prototype, and document changes, while ensuring safe, efficient operation and high-quality output.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in production support or maintenance, a high school diploma (vocational training preferred), and demonstrated CAD skills.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in production support, maintenance (electrical, mechanical technician or controls focus).
• High School Diploma or GED; vocational training/degree preferred in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; punctual and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support production to resolve equipment, process and technical issues to maintain process in optimal state.
• Provide daily support for repairs, installations and routine maintenance and operational excellence.
• Provide diagnostic leadership to the team and floor support for production issues.
• Write and maintain engineering specifications, BOMs, and change notices in collaboration with engineering staff.
• Create or update CAD drawings and engineering specifications; assist in testing and prototyping.
• Document PM plans and ensure PM effectiveness; improve equipment up-times and changeovers.
• Inspect equipment and processes for flaws and identify areas for improvement.
