Job summary

Lam Research seeks an Engineering Technician to support the design, test, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems and experimental circuitry. You will reference schematics and run tests to fault isolate and help remedy malfunctions, contributing to high-precision engineering systems.

You will perform testing with oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized equipment, supporting the design, construction, and check-out of test hardware in a shift-based environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work a shift-based schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, check-out, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, descriptions, layouts, or defined plans.
• May conduct operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment, help in determining methods to remedy malfunctions.
• Support the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

At Lam, as an Engineering Technician, you play a crucial role in supporting activities including design, test, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, and specialized test equipment. Referencing schematics, diagrams, and descriptions, you conduct testing and troubleshooting. Youll perform fault isolation and assist in determining methods to remedy malfunctions. Who we’re looking for
