Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Field Technician to assist in field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel at construction sites. You will communicate with the Project Manager and client representatives to ensure testing and inspection requirements are met and results are accurately documented.

Under supervision, you will transport samples to the lab, prepare data for daily submittals, and maintain equipment while adhering to strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• Driver's license with acceptable history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel.
• Communicate with Project Manager, client representatives, and others on site.
• Transport samples to the lab with identifying documentation for testing and analysis.
• Prepare, tabulate, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports daily.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and work areas; follow safety standards.
