Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab technician to perform testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel at construction sites. You will collect samples, record observations, and prepare data for daily submittals to the Terracon Project Manager while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 6 months of experience, and certifications (ACI within 90 days; Nuclear Density Gauge preferred within 6 months). Valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification preferred within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations under supervision.
• Document findings clearly and prepare data for submittal to Project Manager.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety standards on site.
• Communicate results to Project Manager and client representative as applicable.
