The City of Greenville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate a variety of light to medium-duty equipment in support of city infrastructure maintenance. You will transport equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites and may oversee crew members as needed.

This non-exempt role requires reliable performance at operating sites, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of tasks.

The purpose of this position is to safely and effectively operate a variety of light to medium-duty maintenance equipment in support of the upkeep of City infrastructure. Responsibilities include operating equipment at work sites, transporting equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites, and occasionally providing direction and oversight to assigned crew members.
