Job summary

Pride Global is hiring an Engineering Technician 1 in Tualatin, OR to join a team building and testing advanced semiconductor equipment. You will assemble hardware, test procedures, document results, and help drive new product introductions with engineers in a fast-paced, cleanroom setting.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, adherence to procedures, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturability and quality in next‑generation technology.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience assembling mechanical and/or electrical hardware.
  • Experience following technical instructions, drawings, schematics, or procedures.
  • Experience performing testing and documenting results.
  • Mechanical, electrical, electronics, manufacturing, engineering tech experience.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom and wear PPE.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support rework/overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical hardware by following detailed work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
  • Perform testing according to established procedures and document results.
  • Create basic reports and submit Problem Reports when issues are identified.
  • Support fabrication, prototyping, and new product builds.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and software issues.
  • Identify technical discrepancies and help resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Work closely with engineers on new product introduction and manufacturability.
  • Use diagnostic software and computer interfaces to evaluate equipment performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE.

Now Hiring: Engineering Technician 1 – CW | Tualatin, OR

Are you a hands‑on technician who enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and working with advanced technology? This could be your next opportunity!

We’re looking for an Engineering Technician 1 to join a global technology leader at the forefront of semiconductor equipment innovation. This company develops some of the advanced equipment and technologies that help power the world’s most sophisticated semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Contract: 12 months, with potential for extension

What You’ll Do

As an Engineering Technician, you’ll work closely with engineers and manufacturing teams to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and improve highly complex equipment.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical hardware by following detailed work instructions, drawings, and schematics
  • Perform testing according to established procedures and document results
  • Create basic reports and submit Problem Reports when issues are identified
  • Support fabrication, prototyping, and new product builds

Semiconductor experience is a plus, but we’re also interested in strong technicians with transferable hands‑on experience!
