Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Melbourne, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to support engineering data within the MRP system and bridge floor execution. You will perform hands-on tasks, run real-time troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement projects, enabling engineers to focus on optimization.

Responsibilities include prototype and experimental builds, equipment setup, and real-time diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline, with 2 years hands-on experience.
• Equivalent Experience: 4+ years hands-on proficiency in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Prototype & Experimental Builds: execute trials, build prototypes, and gather baseline metrics with engineering staff to evaluate feasibility.
• Machinery Setup & Maintenance: perform tooling setups, equipment changeovers, and minor mechanical adjustments to ensure continuous production flow.
